USS Shiloh (CG-67) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser, commissioned July 18, 1992 at Pascagoula, Mississippi and named for the 1862 Battle of Shiloh — one of the bloodiest engagements of the Civil War's Western Theater. Forward-deployed to Yokosuka, Japan from 2006 to 2018 as the U.S. 7th Fleet's ballistic missile defense cruiser, Shiloh has been at the leading edge of Aegis BMD operations in the Western Pacific. Now homeported at NAS North Island, San Diego, she continues to serve the Pacific Fleet. This framed ship photo is a tribute to her crew and the legacy of one of the Navy's premier forward-deployed Aegis cruisers.
