I'm Doc — a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman who served both blue side aboard ship and green side with the Marine Corps.

Like a lot of veterans, one of my most prized possessions is my cruise jacket. It's irreplaceable — the memories stitched into it, the pride of wearing it, the way it tells a story no words quite can. I love that jacket. I cherish it. In fact, I have four daughters, and while I'm still very much alive and kicking, they've already claimed it.

That love got me thinking. I wanted something with that same feeling — the pride, the identity, the connection to my ship and my service — that I could actually wear every day. A t-shirt. Something I could throw on without worrying about it. Nothing would ever replace my cruise jacket, but what if there was something that carried that same spirit?

That's how the Cruise Shirt was born. And from there, the rest of The Ship's Store followed.

We make cruise shirts, hoodies, jackets, and apparel for U.S. Navy vessels, squadrons, and air wings — built in the tradition of the cruise jacket, for sailors, aviators, and veterans who want to wear their ship's story every day.
