USS Bonhomme Richard (CVA-31) carries one of the most storied names in American naval history — the flagship from which John Paul Jones spoke his immortal words: "I have not yet begun to fight!" on September 23, 1779, as his battered vessel grappled with HMS Serapis during the Revolutionary War.
