USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) carried a legacy forged across three decades of forward-deployed naval service — from the Persian Gulf Tanker War of the 1980s to Desert Storm, through the Global War on Terror and beyond. Named for the 1775 Battle of Bunker Hill that tested the Continental Army's resolve and produced some of the Revolution's earliest heroes, CG-52 carried that name with distinction across thousands of miles of sea. This embroidered apron proudly displays the Bunker Hill ship's crest — a fitting tribute to every sailor who served aboard her.
