USS Chosin (CG-65) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on January 12, 1991, and named for the Battle of Chosin Reservoir — one of the most harrowing and heroic engagements in Marine Corps history. Homeported at Pearl Harbor, Chosin has spent three decades as one of the Pacific Fleet's most capable surface combatants, her Aegis combat system standing watch over some of the world's most strategically vital waters. This embroidered apron bears her name and crest with pride — a fitting tribute for any shipmate who served aboard the ship named for the Frozen Chosin.
