USS Hancock (CVA-19) deployed to the Western Pacific in 1973-74, her final Vietnam-era cruise. The Paris Peace Accords had been signed in January 1973, but Hancock remained on station as U.S. forces completed their withdrawal and the fate of South Vietnam remained uncertain. Her crew served with distinction through this historic and consequential period. This sweatshirt commemorates the 1973-74 WESTPAC/Vietnam cruise and honors the crew who served.
