USS Hue City (CG-66) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on June 14, 1991. Named for the Battle of Hué City — one of the most intense urban battles of the Tet Offensive in 1968, where U.S. Marines and ARVN forces fought house-to-house for 26 days to retake the ancient imperial capital — the ship carries that legacy of tenacity and sacrifice into every mission. Homeported at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, USS Hue City has served the Navy through multiple Mediterranean deployments spanning more than three decades.
