This framed photo captures USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida — the cradle of naval aviation and the home of the Blue Angels. Pensacola is where every Navy and Marine Corps aviator earns wings of gold, and a JFK port visit there was a homecoming for the carrier's air wing. In her later career JFK served as a training and ready-reserve carrier supporting carrier qualifications for student naval aviators staging from NAS Pensacola. This framed ship photo is a tribute to her crew and the long thread of naval aviation tradition that ran through Pensacola's runways and her flight deck alike.
