USS Fort McHenry (LSD-43) Ship's Crest Mug

USS Fort McHenry is a Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship, named for the storied fort in Baltimore Harbor that withstood the British bombardment of September 13–14, 1814 — the battle that inspired Francis Scott Key to write "The Star-Spangled Banner." Commissioned in 1987, she carried Marines and their equipment into amphibious operations across the Pacific and beyond, projecting power and presence wherever the fleet required.
