USS Philippine Sea (CG-58) 2011 Unisex Sweatshirt

USS Philippine Sea (CG-58) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser commissioned on March 18, 1989, and homeported in Mayport, Florida. Named in honor of the decisive June 1944 Battle of the Philippine Sea, she carries on the legacy of U.S. naval dominance in air defense and strike operations. During her 2011 deployment commemorated by this sweatshirt, Philippine Sea participated in operations across the Middle East and Mediterranean, including support for Operation Odyssey Dawn and subsequent NATO operations in Libya, as well as continued presence missions in the Persian Gulf region.
