USS Saratoga (CV-60) Desert Storm Vinyl Storm

The USS Saratoga (CV-60) was a Forrestal-class aircraft carrier commissioned on April 14, 1956. Deployed to the Red Sea for Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, she and Carrier Air Wing Seventeen struck Iraqi targets from the opening night of the air war on January 17, 1991, through the cease-fire 43 days later. Saratoga's pilots flew hundreds of combat missions against Iraqi air defenses, command infrastructure, and ground forces in Kuwait and Iraq. This vinyl sticker commemorates the ships, aircraft, and crew of USS Saratoga who served during Operation Desert Storm — a permanent tribute to their role in liberating Kuwait.
