The USS Cole (DDG-67) wrote one of the most powerful chapters in U.S. Navy history. On October 12, 2000, al-Qaeda terrorists detonated an explosive device against her hull in the port of Aden, Yemen. Seventeen sailors lost their lives, thirty-nine were wounded — but the crew fought to save their ship, and they succeeded. Cole returned to service, returned to the fleet, and returned to sea. This sticker carries her crest as a tribute to every sailor who served aboard — and to the seventeen who gave everything.
