While USS Constellation (CV-64) sailed the Western Pacific during the Cold War's final chapter, the families at home were serving in their own way. Every letter written, every care package sent, every holiday celebrated without the sailor at the table — all of it was part of the mission. The 1988-89 deployment stretched across months of Cold War tension and historic change, and the families who held down the home front were every bit as essential as those standing watch at sea. This sweatshirt honors that strength.
