USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) was a Midway-class aircraft carrier commissioned in 1947 and one of the longest-serving carriers in U.S. Navy history. She deployed repeatedly to Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, launching strikes from Yankee Station in the Gulf of Tonkin, and participated in Operation El Dorado Canyon against Libya in 1986. Decommissioned in 1990 after 43 years of service.
