USS Forrest Sherman (DDG-98) Spiral Notebook

USS Forrest Sherman (DDG-98) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned in 2006 and named for Admiral Forrest P. Sherman, Chief of Naval Operations 1949–1951, who played a key role in post-World War II naval reorganization and the establishment of NATO. Homeported in Rota, Spain, Forrest Sherman operates with U.S. Naval Forces Europe and has participated in NATO operations, Mediterranean exercises, and Black Sea missions.
