USS Harry S. Truman

Commissioned in 1998 and nicknamed "Give 'Em Hell Harry," the Truman has spent the better part of her career doing exactly that. She deployed repeatedly to the Persian Gulf in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, and her airwing has put steel on target whenever the nation called. CVN-75 earned the distinction of some of the longest continuous deployments of any carrier in modern history, and her crew wore that hardship as a badge of honor.
