USS Kearsarge (CVS-33) Spiral Notebook

USS Kearsarge (CVS-33) was an Essex-class aircraft carrier commissioned in 1946. Reclassified as an antisubmarine carrier, she served through the Korean War and recovered the Mercury and Gemini space capsules — including astronaut Wally Schirra — before decommissioning in 1970.
