Commissioned on September 12, 1987, USS Key West was a Los Angeles-class nuclear-powered attack submarine, homeported at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton. She served the Navy for 37 years before decommissioning on July 22, 2024. Her crest carries the memory of every Sailor who served aboard her.
