USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) 2006 Cruise Sweatshirt

<p>USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) was a Kitty Hawk-class supercarrier commissioned on April 29, 1961. Her 2006 deployment from Naval Station Yokosuka, Japan, continued her long run as the Navy's only forward-deployed carrier, with Carrier Air Wing Five flying missions across the Western Pacific and providing sustained deterrence from Yokosuka. By this point in her career, Kitty Hawk was one of the oldest carriers in the U.S. fleet — and still one of the most capable. This sweatshirt commemorates the crew who deployed with her during the 2006 cruise.</p>
