USS New York (LPD-21) Ship's Crest Vinyl Sticker

USS New York (LPD-21) is a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock with a unique and deeply symbolic heritage. She was built with approximately 7.5 tons of steel salvaged from the wreckage of the World Trade Center, recovered after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Commissioned on November 7, 2009, New York carried that steel in her bow stem as a tribute to the lives lost and a reminder of the resolve of the American people. Homeported at Naval Station Mayport, she deploys with Amphibious Ready Groups to project Marine combat power. Her motto, "Strength forged through sacrifice.
