USS Nimitz (CVN-68) 2017 Cruise Sweatshirt

USS Nimitz (CVN-68) deployed in 2017 to the Western Pacific during a period of sharply elevated tensions on the Korean Peninsula. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group conducted high-profile freedom of navigation operations and exercised alongside allied naval forces in the region. The strike group later transited to the Persian Gulf, where Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) flew strike missions against ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
