USS Ramage (DDG-61) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer named for Vice Admiral Lawson P. Ramage, awarded the Medal of Honor for personally directing gunfire from the open bridge of the submarine USS Parche during a fierce night surface battle in the Pacific in 1944. Forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, Ramage serves as a ballistic-missile-defense ship with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean and Black Sea.
