USS Ranger (CV-61) Desert Storm Combat Cruise Sweatshirt

USS Ranger (CV-61) was a Forrestal-class aircraft carrier commissioned on August 10, 1957, homeported at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, California. Ranger deployed to the Persian Gulf as part of Operation Desert Storm, launching combat sorties against Iraqi targets beginning January 17, 1991. The Ranger Battle Group flew hundreds of strike missions throughout the 43-day air campaign, playing a major role in the coalition victory.
