USS Ranger was the third Forrestal-class supercarrier, commissioned as CVA-61 in 1957 and the only ship of her class to serve her entire career in the Pacific Fleet. Redesignated CV-61 in 1975, she made repeated Western Pacific and Indian Ocean deployments until her decommissioning in 1993.
This heavyweight letterman jacket commemorates Ranger's 1989 Western Pacific deployment to the Indian Ocean and North Arabian Sea, flying support for tanker escort operations through the Persian Gulf.
This is the map edition, featuring the cruise's route and ports of call on the back.
Will my graphic last? Built to stay put. Your design is applied with heat-transfer film technology — the same category of application the pros trust for names and numbers on professional and college sports jerseys. Bonded under heat and pressure, it holds up to real wear, real weather, and repeated washing without cracking or peeling when cared for properly. Turn the jacket inside out, wash cold, and hang or tumble dry low, and your graphic keeps looking sharp for the long haul.
