USS Rushmore (LSD-47) Spiral Notebook

USS Rushmore (LSD-47) is a Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship commissioned in 1991 and homeported in San Diego, California. Named for the iconic South Dakota monument, Rushmore has supported amphibious operations and humanitarian missions throughout the Pacific Fleet, deploying with Expeditionary Strike Groups across the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean. She transports, deploys, and lands Marines and their equipment via Landing Craft Air Cushion vehicles and conventional landing craft.
