USS Saratoga (CV-60) was the second Forrestal-class supercarrier, commissioned in 1956 and named for the Revolutionary War Battle of Saratoga. Originally designated CVA-60, she was reclassified CV-60 in 1972 and deployed repeatedly to the Mediterranean with the Sixth Fleet through the Cold War. Saratoga served until her decommissioning in 1994.
This heavyweight letterman jacket commemorates Saratoga's 1976 Mediterranean deployment with the Sixth Fleet.
Will my graphic last? Built to stay put. Your design is applied with heat-transfer film technology — the same category of application the pros trust for names and numbers on professional and college sports jerseys. Bonded under heat and pressure, it holds up to real wear, real weather, and repeated washing without cracking or peeling when cared for properly. Turn the jacket inside out, wash cold, and hang or tumble dry low, and your graphic keeps looking sharp for the long haul.
