Commissioned on December 1, 1984, USS Taylor was a Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate, homeported at Naval Station Mayport. She served the Navy for 31 years before decommissioning on May 8, 2015. Her crest carries the memory of every Sailor who served aboard her.
