How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

USS Vella Gulf (CG-72) was a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser, commissioned September 18, 1993 at Pascagoula, Mississippi and named for the 1943 Battle of Vella Gulf — the destroyer engagement in the Solomon Islands where U.S. Navy DesRon 12 ambushed and sank three Japanese destroyers in one of the most successful surface actions of World War II. Homeported at Naval Station Norfolk, Vella Gulf served the Atlantic Fleet through nearly three decades of deployments including counter-piracy operations off Somalia and ballistic missile defense patrols. She was decommissioned August 4, 2022. This framed ship photo is a tribute to her crew and the legacy of one of the Atlantic Fleet's most-deployed Aegis cruisers.
