USS Saratoga (CV-60) 1990-91 Cruise Varsity Jacket

USS Saratoga (CV-60) was the second Forrestal-class supercarrier, commissioned in 1956 and named for the Revolutionary War Battle of Saratoga. Originally designated CVA-60, she was reclassified CV-60 in 1972 and deployed repeatedly with the Sixth Fleet. Saratoga served until her decommissioning in 1994.

This heavyweight letterman jacket commemorates Saratoga's 1990-91 deployment to the Red Sea in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
