Operation Desert Fox Sweatshirt

In December 1998, the United States and United Kingdom launched Operation Desert Fox — four days of intensive airstrikes against Iraqi military targets after Iraq's continued obstruction of UN weapons inspectors. Navy carrier air wings flew hundreds of strike sorties, hitting Republican Guard facilities, command-and-control infrastructure, and weapons sites across Iraq. It was a sharp, decisive demonstration of coalition resolve and American sea power.
