Cruise jacket sizing runs true to standard letterman fits. Check the size chart photo in each jacket listing for exact measurements.
How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

Nineteen sixty-eight was the year everything seemed to be falling apart — Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy assassinated, cities in flames, Vietnam tearing the country in two. And in August, Soviet tanks rolled into Czechoslovakia to crush the Prague Spring. USS Essex was in the Mediterranean when the invasion came, and the Sixth Fleet surged to heightened readiness. CVS-9's anti-submarine warfare mission was never more urgent. The sailors of Essex in 1968 served in a world on the edge — and held their post with the steady resolve that American naval service has always demanded.
