USS Midway (CV-41) Spiral Notebook

USS Midway (CV-41) was commissioned in 1945 and named for the pivotal Battle of Midway that turned the tide of World War II in the Pacific. The longest-serving U.S. carrier of the 20th century, she deployed throughout the Cold War and served as flagship during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Decommissioned in 1992 after 47 years, she is now preserved as a museum ship and flight experience in San Diego, California.
