USS Constellation (CV-64), known as "Connie," was a Kitty Hawk-class conventional aircraft carrier commissioned in 1961. She deployed to Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War and served in the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea through the Cold War and Gulf War eras. One of the last conventionally powered carriers in U.S. service, she was decommissioned in 2003 after more than four decades of distinguished service.
