The USS Rentz (FFG-46) was an Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate of the United States Navy, commissioned on June 30, 1984. Named for Father George Rentz, a Navy chaplain who gave his life jacket to a wounded sailor and perished in the Sunda Strait in 1942 — receiving the Navy Cross posthumously — she served the Pacific Fleet with honor throughout her career.
This spiral notebook features the ship's official crest on a deep navy cover with a detailed ship biography on the reverse — a lasting tribute for veterans, families, and collectors who served aboard her.
