The USS Samuel Eliot Morison (FFG-13) was an Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate of the United States Navy, commissioned on October 11, 1980. Named for Rear Admiral Samuel Eliot Morison, the Pulitzer Prize-winning naval historian who documented the U.S. Navy's World War II campaigns, she served the Atlantic Fleet in convoy escort, counter-drug, and fleet defense missions.
