The USS Simpson (FFG-56) was an Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate of the United States Navy, commissioned on May 21, 1985. She served in the Atlantic Fleet and made history on January 17, 1993, when she fired Tomahawk cruise missiles at Iraqi air defense radar sites — the only Perry-class frigate to employ Tomahawks in combat.
This spiral notebook features the ship's official crest on a deep navy cover with a detailed ship biography on the reverse — a lasting tribute for veterans, families, and collectors who served aboard her.
