The USS Arlington (LPD-24) is a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock of the United States Navy, commissioned on April 6, 2013. Named in honor of Arlington, Virginia — home to the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery — she carries special significance as a tribute to those lost on September 11, 2001. She deploys with Marine Expeditionary Units for amphibious and special operations worldwide.
