The USS Denver (LPD-9) was an Austin-class amphibious transport dock of the United States Navy, commissioned on October 26, 1968, and decommissioned in February 2011. Named for Denver, Colorado, she served 43 years in the Pacific Fleet, participating in operations from Vietnam-era evacuations to Desert Storm, and was a stalwart of amphibious ready groups throughout the Cold War.
