USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53) Spiral Notebook

USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned in 1994 and named for the Father of the American Navy himself. John Paul Jones's immortal declaration — "I have not yet begun to fight!" — during the Battle of Flamborough Head in 1779 established the fighting spirit of the U.S. Navy. Homeported in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, John Paul Jones has deployed throughout the Pacific in support of Indo-Pacific operations and ballistic missile defense exercises.
