USS Truxtun (DDG-103) Spiral Notebook

USS Truxtun (DDG-103) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer named for Commodore Thomas Truxtun, one of the Navy's founding officers, whose victories over the French frigates Insurgente and Vengeance during the Quasi-War of 1798–1800 established the fighting reputation of the young United States Navy. Homeported in Norfolk, Virginia, Truxtun has deployed to the Mediterranean and Black Sea with the Sixth Fleet, supporting NATO exercises and theater security operations.
