USS Seattle (AOE-3) was a Sacramento-class fast combat support ship commissioned in 1969 and named for the Emerald City. Built to replenish carrier battle groups with fuel, ammunition, and stores without interrupting operations, she served the Atlantic Fleet as a logistics backbone in the Mediterranean and Arabian Gulf and supported Desert Shield and Desert Storm. She was decommissioned in 1995.
