USS Iowa (BB-61) Spiral Notebook

USS Iowa (BB-61) is the lead ship of the Iowa-class fast battleships, commissioned in 1943. The only U.S. battleship fitted with a bathtub — installed for President Franklin D. Roosevelt, whom she carried to the Tehran Conference — she fought across the Pacific in World War II, served off Korea, and was reactivated in the 1980s as the flagship of the 600-ship Navy. Today she is preserved as a museum ship at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, California.
