How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

Commodore Joshua Barney was one of the great fighting sailors of the founding era—a Revolutionary War privateer, a defender of the Chesapeake, and the man who held the British at bay with a flotilla of gunboats during the War of 1812. USS Barney (DDG-6) honored that legacy as a Charles F. Adams-class guided missile destroyer, commissioned in 1962 and homeported at Mayport, Florida. Through the Cold War she stood the watch in the Mediterranean and North Atlantic, tracking Soviet threats and keeping the pressure on—exactly the kind of persistent, relentless service her namesake would have recognized.
