How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) was commissioned January 20, 1986, carrying the name of the first great battle of the American Revolution and armed with the most sophisticated combat system afloat — the Aegis weapon system. Her 1987 cruise deployed the crew to the Persian Gulf during the Iran-Iraq War, the dangerous period known as the Tanker War. U.S. warships escorted reflagged Kuwaiti oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz while Iranian forces laid mines and attacked neutral shipping. The crew of Bunker Hill stood a tense and vital watch, protecting the flow of oil that kept allied economies running. Wearing the 1987 cruise marking honors those sailors who kept the peace in waters that had none.
