How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) deployed on the 1986-87 cruise into a world of sharply rising tensions. America struck Libya in April 1986 in response to state-sponsored terrorism. The Iran-Contra affair rocked Washington. In May 1987, an Iraqi Exocet missile struck the USS Stark in the Persian Gulf, killing 37 Americans. Carl Vinson's crew maintained their combat readiness and professional bearing through a period that tested the entire naval service. This sweatshirt honors the sailors of the 1986-87 cruise who answered the call.
