USS Chung-Hoon (DDG-93) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer commissioned on September 18, 2004, and named in honor of Rear Admiral Gordon Pai'ea Chung-Hoon — a Pearl Harbor survivor, Medal of Honor nominee, and the first person of Asian ancestry to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, class of 1934. Homeported at Pearl Harbor, just miles from where her namesake earned his valor, Chung-Hoon and her crew have upheld that legacy across multiple deployments throughout the Pacific. This embroidered apron carries that proud heritage — a fitting tribute for any shipmate who served.
