How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

The 1984–85 cruise of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) was part of the sustained American naval presence in the Mediterranean during the Reagan era — a presence designed to reassure allies, deter Soviet ambitions, and maintain the ability to project power into the Middle East and North Africa. The mid-1980s were years of active naval operations: freedom of navigation challenges, counter-terrorism concerns in the wake of the Beirut bombing, and regular exercises with the Sixth Fleet. Ike's crew served during a period when American naval power in the Med was a central pillar of Western deterrence strategy.
