USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) 1965-66 Combat Cruise Varsity Jacket

USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) was the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, commissioned in 1961. Known as the Big E, she served for over 51 years before her decommissioning in 2017.

This heavyweight letterman jacket commemorates Enterprise's first Vietnam combat deployment in 1965-66, operating from Yankee Station in the South China Sea. Enterprise's air wing flew strikes into North Vietnam during this historic cruise, with port visits to the Philippines and Hong Kong.
