How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

The 2004 maiden deployment of USS Howard (DDG-83) marked the ship's first major operational deployment following her commissioning in November 2003. Operating in the Western Pacific and Middle East, Howard's crew proved their readiness in support of post-9/11 maritime security operations and coalition efforts throughout the region. Named for Gunnery Sergeant Jimmie E. Howard, a Marine Medal of Honor recipient whose heroic last stand in Vietnam became one of the defining stories of the war, USS Howard carried his legacy of valor and leadership into her first deployment in harm's way.
