Cruise jacket sizing runs true to standard letterman fits. Check the size chart photo in each jacket listing for exact measurements.
How to measure: lay a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit (chest width) and from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem (length), then compare to the chart.

In 1970-71, USS Independence (CVA-62) deployed to the Western Pacific as the Nixon administration pursued Vietnamization — withdrawing American ground forces while maintaining air power. Operating from Yankee Station, Independence's air wing continued the carrier mission in support of remaining American and South Vietnamese forces, sustaining naval aviation's crucial role as the war's strategic calculus shifted.
